Miller Shows Well at Zone 4 Track and Field Championships

On Wednesday, May 26, The Miller Aces Track and Field Team attended the Zone 4 Track and Field Championships in Winkler.

The Aces had a good showing as 15 athletes made the trip to compete in various events.

Karlyn Fehr was the top Miller performer winning the Junior Boys High Jump event with a leap of 1.62 meters.

Rebekah Heppner placed third in the Junior Girls High Jump event while Karlee Wiebe also finished third in the Junior Girls 80 meter hurdles.

All three athletes advance to the Provincial AAA Championships held in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba June 10-12.

Congratulations to all W.C. Miller Athletes who participated yesterday. you represented our school well!
